Our company history goes back to 1964 when Dan Hayes started in the metal building business. In 1969, Dan made the decision to go into the steel erection business. After many years of erecting steel buildings for other contractors and building owners, he decided it was time to expand his business to a full-service design/build, pre-engineered metal building contractor called Industrial Structures, Inc. Initially the majority of our work was located within the state of Michigan, however our many customer's needs have sent the company to the farthest reaches of our nation.

Over the years, Dan has achieved numerous Top Sales Volume Awards from multiple building manufacturers. His experience and dedication to quality results in a first-class pre-engineered metal building by Industrial Structures, Inc. has over the years, grown and diversified to offer conventional steel, general construction and renovation markets. To better offer our clients a turnkey building we have matured into the market of finished office spaces as well.

Today, Dan Hayes is still President and CEO of Industrial Structures, Inc. and in 2006 formed another company to meet the needs of the growing metal building industry in Honolulu, Hawaii, Hawaiian Industrial Structures, Inc. Dan is actively involved in the supervision and erection and finish work of all of his construction projects. The company currently has dynamic erection crew, excavation and site work crew, sales and office staff. Our steady, long term growth spanning 45 years, is attributed to maintaining employment of qualified and experienced employees who have the knowledge and skills to provide professional results and to maintaining a quality line of vendors.
